Supervisor Job Description
Our client is looking for a supervisor who will oversee managing one of their shifts. Duties primarily revolve around the management of direct reports, which include, but are not limited to, providing and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion to succeed.

Location: Brackmills, NN4
Hours: Mon-Fri 0730-1600
 
Supervisor Responsibilities

• Ensuring employees meet the performance expectations.
• Identify the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
• Maintains a clean, neat and well organised area.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Ensuring great customer service at all levels.
• Works with handheld scanning devices for receiving, storage and completing orders.
• Tracks and updates status of incoming and outgoing consignments.
• Maintains an accurate log of scanning inventory and counting.
• Scanning and sorting of incoming/outgoing material.
• Stock management.
• Engages with customers and suppliers with a positive attitude.
• Learns and provides cover for other areas of the business.

• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Professional appearance.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and spoken English.

• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Proven experience in supervision.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft.
• Full driving licence
• Picking and e-commerce experience.
