Document Services Operative

Location: The client is Clayton West HD8 Approx. 11 miles from Wakefield Town Centre and Huddersfield Town
 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 To ensure imaging for all clients is processed in accordance with agreed requirements and service levels, ensuring quality and integrity of data and information is maintained throughout the process.
 

  • Accurate inputting/processing of data under time monitored conditions following procedures laid out in Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for specific clients
  • Handling members of the public personal certificates which have to be returned securely and to the correct address to avoid a data breach
  • Accurately record, sort and distribute incoming post into relevant document categories
  • Compile delivery list for outgoing post and frank and record different postage requirements appropriately
  • Quality check data entered by operators and rectify any errors
  • Scanning documents onto client servers using appropriate device including OPEX machines through a secure platform
  • Documents archived and securely destroyed following retention rules dictated by client
  • Run reports, raise and respond to queries when interacting with clients
  • Carry out periodic testing programmes on software following client change requests
  • Liaising with software developer including updates and defects
  • Process, handle and Bank cheques in an accurate and timely manner following instruction from client
  • Responsible for commuting to client sites and banks efficiently and safely
  • Existing Operators train new members of staff when recruited
 
SKILLS REQUIRED
 Possesses a sound working knowledge of windows-based applications
  • Computer literacy and numeracy

 EXPECTED ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
 
Qualifications
GCSE passes or equivalent in Maths and English desirable. 
  Computer skills essential.
 
  Experience Required
  Office/Administration experience desirable
