Summary
Our established engineering client in Burton Latimer are recruiting for a Metal Finisher / Caster to work on a full-time contract
The role will suit someone that has worked within metal finishing / sheet metal work or worked within a foundry.
The hours for this shift are 6am - 2.30pm OR 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday
Pay rate is from £10.09 - £10.61 per hour
 
The client - Aluminium product manufacturer
 
The role

• Making castings for guttering, grates, and other products
• Finishing of pre-casted aluminium parts using linishing machines, hydraulic punch, band saw, manual fettling tools, and handheld grinders.
• Working in the casting area, prepping dies, and molten aluminium
• Ladling molten liquid in to dies, and extracting the casting
• Clean and prep dies

• Put away and retrieve from storage

• Experience of sheet metal finishing, linishing, fettling etc
• Able to work in with manual machinery
