Encore are proud to be working in partnership with a national food manufacturing company, who are one of the largest manufacturers in the UK, the company in question are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Job Role:
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. This particular site is highly automated and the engineering management also provide a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.
Typical Duties will involve:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site, Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM's)
• Attending to machinery breakdowns, fault finding processing equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery.
• Installation of conduit, wiring and cabling systems
• Repair/replacement of power distribution equipment.
• Repair/replacement of electrical control equipment.
• Removal and installation of pumps and motor
• General onsite maintenance as and when required
• Working effectively alone as well as part of a team of engineers onsite

• Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification, either Mechanical or Electrical.
• Have to be experienced in a manufacturing environment, food experience would be advantageous but not essential
• The ability to read advanced electrical / mechanical drawings on new machinery.
• Experience of working with Advanced Safety Circuits.
