Warehouse Team Leader , Leicester LE19
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced warehouse Team Leader for our busy client based in Leicester LE19.
Our client's product range is vast, covering menswear and womenswear.

Salary up to 25K depending on experience
Working hours: 
06:00 - 14:00 Mon - Fri  OR
14:00-22:00 Mon - Fri 
As a warehouse Team Leader your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day-to-day core DC operations for our shops, wholesale and online customers by working with a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and outstanding quality of service. 
  • Deliver the needs of the business in a timely, cost effective manner acting as a role model for team.  Maximise company's distribution performance by ensuring a highly engaged team of Warehouse Operatives. 
  • To lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members ensuring engagement is high.
  • Set clear, SMART objectives for your team members.
  • Manage employee sickness absence and well-being.
  • Perform investigation / disciplinary processes.
  • Manage employee relations.
  • Monitor / manage team KPIs.
  • Attend and participate in meetings at Head Office as necessary
  • Selection, induction, and retention of team members
  • Ensure correct resources to manage requirements of the operation.
  • Other duties that may be required 
About You:
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations and promote a safe and healthy working environment. 
  • Previous Team Leader experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and leadership skills.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good literacy / numerical / analytical skills
  • Good computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Previous warehouse/ distribution experience is essential.
