Assembly Operatives

Production / Assembly Operative - Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds, LS25  
Mon - Fri, Mon- Thurs 7.30am - 4pm & Fri - 7am -2:30pm, with overtime in peak periods
Salary: £10.00ph
 
Working at one of our prestigious clients in Sherburn in Elmet as a Production / Assembly Operative, within a busy manufacturing company.
This is a temporary ongoing position that could lead to permanent for the right candidate that meets all company standards and KPI's in place.
Expectations & Duties of a Production / Assembly Operative:

• Assembly of lighting products for various projects
• Hand soldering
• Inspecting & quality control of lighting items
• To fit, assemble, test components
• Placing components into a final assembly, following company procedures
• Test other team members work to ensure assembly accuracy, quality and reliability
• Labelling/serialising assembled products

• Inspecting & quality control of items
• Accurate completion of paperwork
• Pay good attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Working at high speeds and meeting company target KPI's
• Work within a team to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always complies with company and legislative standards.

• Punctual and excellent attendance records
• Will be flexible to do overtime, also work at short notice
