Monday to Thursday, 2 Week Rotating Shift Pattern 06:00 -18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00 
                    Immediate Starts Temporary-to-Ongoing roles

Encore Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are based in the Great Barr area. Due to sustained growth they are now actively looking for a Production Operative with Paint Mixing experience to join their team on a temporary-to-ongoing basis. 


  • Temporary-to-Ongoing positions
  • Monday to Thursday working week
  • Average of 40 hours per week

Job Role:
  • To supply application equipment and paint to the paint sprayers on time and in full, in accordance to the paint plan requirements for each working shift.
  • Ensure to fully control all application equipment and order required spares through your paint production manager, in order to minimise potential downtime on the plant.
  • Follow the relevant work instructions throughout the paint process to ensure that components are produced correctly.
  • Ensure that all materials are well organised stored correctly using best practices.
  • Ensure there is always a minimum risk for potential spills from mixing paints and that spill kits are readily available.
  • Ensure that empty packaging is broken down and neatly stored ready for removal.
  • Be flexible to help out on other areas of the business as and when required.
  • Any other requirements along the Production Process
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy before, during and after the shift.
  • To mix paint ready for spraying ensuring that all specifications are correct in full from the suppliers specificaions.
  • To ensure all paint spray application equipment is readily available for the sprayer in accordance to the paint plan.
  • To always ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
  • All application equipment is cleaned, serviced and fully operational prior to use.
  • All primers, base coats, mono coats & clear coats are well filtered prior to use
  • Ensuring that all work instructions are followed, all documentation is kept up to date and all process procedure are fully adhered to at all times.
  • PPE policies are adhered to in all areas of the paint process.

  • Literate and numerate
  • Must have good problem solving skills regarding paint preparation techniques.

  • Ability to get the job done (attention to detail, decisiveness and organisation and planning ability)
