Encore are proud to be working in continued partnership with a bespoke manufacturing company, that have been supplying their bespoke and custom products across the UK and Europe. They are now expanding and increasing the size of their maintenance department by adding a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to the team.

Job Role:

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for both electrical and mechanical equipment onsite. There would also be a requirement for you to support any other maintenance projects on the site, which may be required.

Typical Duties will involve:

• Working individually and collectively with the engineering team or contractors to ensure all reactive, preventative, and proactive FM maintenance is completed.
• Ensuring the company meets Health and Safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation, including conducting and reviewing risk assessments and method statements, undertaking regular spot checks and testing eg COSHH assessments, Legionella dip testing and PAT testing.
• Undertaking planned site inspections eg EICR and Fire Safety, co-ordinating with contractors on site.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement to ensure the department is always developing with reactive and proactive procedures.
• General onsite maintenance as and when required.

Desirable experience

• Able to work the Monday to Friday shift (0830 - 1630),
• Relevant qualification in a technical, property or FM discipline eg IOSH.
• Solid background with basic plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance experience.
• Previous experience in managing the maintenance & repair of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience of negotiation with and supervision of contractors, co-ordination and management of reactive & planned works

  • Mechanical Maintenance - there are several larger projects coming over the coming months
  • Working alongside the production team to understand issues and reduce impact on production.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement to ensure the department is always developing with reactive and proactive procedures.
  • Ensure the working environment is safe for all - a health and safety orientated mindset is a must.
  • General onsite maintenance as and when required.
  
Desirable experience:

Job Role:
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for both electrical and mechanical equipment onsite. There would also be a requirement for you to support other maintenance projects on the site to ensure optimum production capacity.
 
Typical Duties will involve:

  • Working individually and collectively with the engineering team to ensure all reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance is completed during the shift.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance including 1 & 3 Phase motors, PLC (predominately Siemens controls) and Installs of new equipment.
  • Working alongside the production team to understand issues and reduce impact on production.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement to ensure the department is always developing with reactive and proactive procedures.
  • Ensure the working environment is safe for all - a health and safety orientated mindset is a must.
  • General onsite maintenance as and when required.
Desirable experience
  • Able to work the 4 on 4 off shift (1900 - 0700), which includes weekend and Bank Holidays

The role:
For the role as a Turner CNC Machinist your day-to-day tasks will be to:

  • Programme, set and operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc/ G-Code,
  • Generate CNC machine programmes,
  • Read engineering drawings and understand the specifications and tolerancing,
  • Assist or instruct other operatives with set ups, tooling and cutting details,
  • Wherever possible, identify and obtain tooling, fixtures, and machine programme requirements for jobs in advance of starting the job to reduce spindle stop time,
  • Ensure that routine maintenance (lubrication, cutting fluid, machine cleaning etc) tasks are carried out at the required frequencies.
 
The person:
As a Tuner CNC Machinist you will have:
  • Experience working as a CNC Programmer/Setter,
  • Experience on Fanuc / G-Codes,
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications and tolerances,
  • Must be a confident individual to be able to assist or instruct other operatives,
  • Must be able to used quality measuring tools.
