Field Service Engineer (Diesel Engines)
£30-35k + Van + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare

The Company
A medium sized organisation that generated a turnover of £18m in 2009.
Operating in within the renewable energy sector they own a number of
patented technologies and have forecasted exceptional growth over the next 5
years. To support this they have an urgent requirement for a Field Service
Engineer across the South East of England.

The Role
In your capacity as a Field Service Engineer you will cover an area from Norfolk
to Dover. Working at customer sites you will be involved in maintenance,
reactive repairs and development work on 16 litre Volvo engines at a variety of
customer sites. This will be mechanically biased work that will incorporate
electrical engineering and use of SCADA systems.

The Candidate
Candidates for this position must be time served multi-skilled engineers with
expertise in high speed diesel engines. You will be required to interact with
customers, think on your feet and deal with a broad range of technical issues.
Previous experience within the energy/power generation sector is desirable, as
is an appreciation of SCADA.

The Benefits
This role offers a salary of £30-35k, negotiable on skills and experience. The
successful candidate will also have a fully expensed van, laptop and mobile
phone. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday a year, private healthcare,
pension contributions and an annual bonus.
