Maintenance Engineer (Food)
£30-31k + overtime + pension

The Company
A leading food producer who supply a range of chilled and ambient products.
They are part of a larger group and have a turnover in excess of £100m. At
their large and modern Shropshire facility they are strengthening their
engineering department. As a result they have an immediate opportunity for an
electrically biased maintenance engineer.

The Role
In your capacity as a maintenance engineer you will work as part of a small
team on a continental shift pattern. The main aspect of the role is attending
breakdowns and fault finding on electro-mechanical process/packaging
machinery. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and
work to a structured PPM system. This role will involve working in low and high
care areas on a semi-automated plant.

The Candidate
Candidates for this position must be apprentice trained electrical engineers with
experience in high volume manufacturing. Previous experience within the food,
pharmaceutical or fmcg sector is highly desired. The ability to work
unsupervised and excellent fault finding skills are essential. This role offers a
salary of £31k, all overtime is paid and a generous pension scheme is available.
