Engine Technician/Service Engineer (Contract)
£16 per hour (Days) & £20 per hour (Nights/Call Out)

My client is a leading player in the energy market. Due to an increasing workload they are looking to recruit engineers throughout the UK to work on reciprocating engines. These positions are available on ongoing contracts and offer excellent rates of pay. I have an upcoming vacancy in the Nottingham area covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire.
In this role you will be required to work on site and carry out ppm’s, monitor engines, carry out overhauls and repairs on V16 and V20 reciprocating engines (Jenbacher and Caterpillar), pumps and ancillary equipment at a power stations across your region.

Candidates must be mechanical engineers with extensive experience of working on reciprocating engines. You will ideally have spent the last five years in a role where you will be diagnosing faults on large reciprocating engines. Ex-forces, marine engineers and those with experience in the energy sector will be ideal candidates. This role offers an hourly rate of up £16 per hour and £20 per hour for overtime and call out.
