We are currently looking for Order Pickers to work various shifts at White Stuff.

Your role would involve - 

• Picking and Sortation of customers orders, this includes dealing with any errors that may arise
• Packing and folding of clothing items for individual orders (homeshopping online orders) to the specific White Stuff standard, no more than 10 kg per item.
• Identify and report errors and exceptions in orders and merchandise.
• Able to carry out all tasks required of a warehouse operative to a very high standard
• Actively support the White Stuff core values
• Understand own personal day to day targets

Previous ordering picking experience is preferred but not always essential. Morning, Afternoon and Late shifts all available however flexibility to work all shifts would be an advantage.

Working for the UK's largest tile and wood floor specialist, your role will be to order pick items such as bathroom and kitchen tiles as well as wood floor products.

These will be picked via a PPT (Pallet Pump Truck), so previous experience is essential. Items are heavy (up to 30-40 kg per load) so you must be physically fit.

Candidates will be numerate, literate with a strong work ethic. You must also be fast paced but accuracy is also essential.

Individual performance will be monitored and personal pick rates set. Day and night shifts are available - 0600-1400, 0800-1630,1400-2200 or 2200-0600.

The main roles will be, either machine operating or assembling.
 
Machine Operating – Assisting with the prototype and CNC setter operating the machines. The CNC machine will need to be loaded with plastics and then unloaded when the machine has run its cycle. There may be stacking of materials and moving of stock.
 
Assembly – This will involve making up display stands made of cardboard/plastics/Acrylic in order to assemble the unit you have to fold and cut card, guillotine plastic rivet, glue and screw together components. The work is dexterous and requires high levels of concentration. The work can be repetitive.
When not working you may be required to carry out general labouring duties including sweeping up and cleaning surfaces down. Mint works to tight lean manufacturing principles and it is vital you adopt a professional approach to your work in line with this.

The ideal applicant will be dexterous and able to build units accurately and quickly. Ideally they will be experienced in point of sale assembly and manufacturing. Any joinery or manufacturing experience is also beneficial
