Account Manager required for established site based near Wakefield. Our client is a progressive 24/7 DM operation with sites throughout the UK. We require an Account Manager to be based on our office premises on site, ideally with experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting, inducting and managing packing and machine minding staff, report compilation and specific training. Where necessary you will also be expected to work on the shop floor to ensure deadlines are met.
A lively, professional outlook, coupled with the ability to mix with people at both shop floor and senior levels is required. A good level of English (spoken and written) is essential, as is a driving licence and your own transport. Hours are nominally 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with a high degree of flexibility. You will also be expected to be on call to respond to urgent needs.
Salary is £18,000+ dependent upon experience, with access(after qualifying period) to our company pensions scheme, share options, bonus scheme and further benefits. Training will be given both at the site and at our Head Office in Leicester (expenses paid), so the ability to stay away from home or travel is occasionally required.
