Turnover Increases as Recruitment Agency expands into Birmingham

Encore Personnel Services have announced their year-end financial results for 2010 with turnover up 62% on the previous year. This increase to £22.6m has augmented expansion into Birmingham, opening up their 17th divisional location.

Encore has been covering the Birmingham area for the last 6 years from their locations in Coventry and Telford but due to an upturn in business in the area over the last 12 months they have considered expanding into Birmingham city centre.

Greg Latham, Managing Director at Encore, commented ‘This is huge! I’m really proud of our achievements in 2010 which has seen our biggest year on year increase in terms of turnover. It has meant we have been able to greatly increase our retained earnings with zero debt and still leave pre tax margins at industry leading levels.’

‘This reflects the extremely hard work put in by all of our staff. They have had to meet the increasing demands of industry and commerce as it tentatively expands through the use of temporary staff. We have tried to meet this demand not by undercutting prices but by adding points of difference like online video inductions and biometric time recording.’

‘This increase in orders puts the Company on track to become a leading recruitment organisation in the UK in the next few years and our confidence is illustrated by the new Branch opening in Birmingham this week which will be followed by more expansion throughout 2011.’
