Third of jobseekers feel unappreciated

One in three jobseekers feels unappreciated by their employer, according to a poll from Monster.co.uk.

The poll shows 34% of those who were “very unhappy” report the main reason they were looking for a new role was because they didn’t find their current role challenging or rewarding enough. Other reasons for wanting to move jobs were a desire for better salary and benefits (24%) and to find something less stressful (13%).

Of those claiming to be very happy, three in four said one of the main reasons they were so content was their employer valued their contribution to the company.
