Encore retain their Investors in People accreditation
Following Encore’s recent review of their Investors in People accreditation they are pleased to announce that they have passed the assessments for the 3rd time and achieved recognition for another 3 years. The Investors in People Standard helps organisations increase profits by empowering employees and involving staff more effectively.
For recognised employers, the Standard is exceeding expectations in terms of staff benefits resulting in more motivated staff, lower turnover and absenteeism and in terms of cost benefits seeing improved efficiency and productivity, less waste and increased sales.
Encore’s key strength points that the assessor noted were:
• There is an excellent team working culture fostered within the company – plenty of examples of people sharing and helping.
• There are frequent opportunities to review performance - the investment in time here is paying dividends
• A high level of personal development activity is on offer at Encore
• A good Coaching style is often used by managers when developing staff rather than just training by rote
• Particularly noteworthy was the identification of aspiring individuals for succession planning in the company through the Management Training Academy
• People really do feel involved in the planning of targets for their individual area of work
Greg Latham, Managing Director, comments “We are delighted that we have been awarded with this prestigious accolade for the third time, meaning we will have been confirmed as Investors in People for at least 9 years.”
“We realise that staff are the heart and soul of any business and nowhere is this more prominent than in recruitment - this is a great achievement for a company committed to being the best.”
Working with the Investors in People Standard has helped more than 80% of recognised employers improve employee understanding of how they can help the organisation meet its objectives.
Encore Personnel specialise in the supply of blue collar personnel (logistics, manufacturing and engineering, temporary and permanent) to industry throughout the U.K, employing over 1,800 temporary staff each week through its existing six locations and 16 divisions, continuing to build their reputation as one of the country’s leading recruitment consultancies.
