Encore introduces unique online workforce induction videos
Investing in the skills of individuals is essential to business success but this can prove to be both time consuming and costly especially when large induction programmes are routinely necessary.
With this in mind Encore Personnel have invested in the technology to capture client’s workplace inductions in an online video. This can then be either viewed in a group at the client’s workplace, in Encore’s office prior to the temporary staff coming onsite or the contractors can be given a log in to view the induction video at home.
The online induction video is saved on a secure login, which will only be accessible by candidates that have been deemed suitable to start with the chosen clients and at the end of the video they will be asked some questions to confirm that they have watched and understood the information in the video.
The induction video can be designed to cover all aspects of a client’s onsite induction program, from fire exits to canteen facilities, and as well as this Encore has introduced a separate Slips, Trips and Falls safety induction.
Chris Hockey, Director at Encore Personnel, commented “Health and Safety in the workplace is becoming more and more crucial and here at Encore Personnel we take this very serious.”
“The client specific online induction video, coupled with the Slips, Trips and Falls video means we can make sure that all our contractors are aware of the environment that they are being placed into, but also it will save our clients time, which as we are all aware is becoming more and more crucial.”
Encore Personnel specialise in the supply of blue collar personnel (logistics, manufacturing and engineering, temporary and permanent) to industry throughout the U.K, employing over 2,000 temporary staff each week through its existing six locations and 17 divisions, continuing to build their reputation as one of the country’s leading recruitment consultancies.
