Encore goes for the ‘encore’ once more!
Encore Personnel Services have been announced as finalists in the celebrated ‘Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2011’ as the ‘Best Small Recruitment Agency to Work For’, this just after achieving a Two Star status with the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For 2011’.
The Two Star Status within the Best Companies Accreditation Standard for 2011 makes Encore Personnel one of the best companies to work for in the UK. As featured in the Best Companies Guide, the Accreditation recognises organisational excellence in the area of workplace engagement.
The ‘Best Companies’ survey uses key questions to gain a comprehensive view of employee engagement across eight factors and performance is defined solely by employee response. ‘Best Companies to Work For’ surveyed over 291,000 employees from a record 1,165 organisations and Encore Personnel were one of only 158 companies that achieved the accreditation.
Chris Hockey, Director, commented, “We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for such a prestigious accolade. We have now received the Best Company award for 4 years running but this is the first time we have achieved a two star status.”
“We realise that staff are the heart and soul of any business and nowhere is this more important than in recruitment - this is a great achievement for a company committed to being the best.”
Jonathan Austin, CEO and founder, Best Companies comments: “An engaged workforce is essential as organisations move out of the recession and into a more stable economic situation. No doubt many organisations have tackled redundancies and rapid change this year. But only those that have kept on engaging their staff and making sure they are involved in the business will be in a good position for the future.
