Defining the issue: Due to an increase in orders, the client requires a number of skilled CNC Machinists to work at their Leicester Operation.

Case Study: Worldwide automotive manufacturer, leading name in car manufacture
Defining the issue: 100 Production Operatives were needed and the client required a fresh recruitment campaign with workers sourced only from Europe.
The brief was to:
- Stagger the inductions to a total 100 operatives in an 8 week period, working to set targets for each intake.
- Each worker was to have a production or manufacturing background and Encore were given only 10 days before the first intake of staff was required.
- Candidates were to be interviewed and recruited in Europe and tested in English Language and Manual Dexterity to SHL standards
- Successful candidates would then require transport to, and accommodating in the UK.
Strategy of attracting suitable candidates:
Encore Europe ran targeted recruitment campaigns in Poland using associates in the locality and both press and internet advertising.
This was followed by two interviewing and testing sessions running in two different parts of Poland

All the selected candidates met the strictly targeted criteria.
Results Within 10 days of receiving the brief, 26 workers had been placed at the UK site. This number rose until 120 Production Operatives had been successfully recruited, tested and transported to the UK.
Upon arrival in the UK, an Encore representative met each individual and placed them in the accommodation provided. Over 90% of the workers were retained in the same role and offered permanent contracts.
Encores procedures were audited throughout coupled with transparent working processes, enabled a high level of trust from the client.
