Encore Charity Initiatives

Here at Encore we are always looking at ways in which we can raise money for charity, whether it is organised events or company dress down days.

All staff are entitled to one paid day a year for the purpose of charitable activities.

To enable everyone to do their bit staff are involved in a 'Donate a Day' voluntary project where each employee works for one day at one of Encore's clients with the money raised going to a nominated local charity.

Our other charitable fundraising initiatives have raised over £10,000 in the past three years, including;

• 2007 - Huntington's Disease – 3 Peaks 24 hour Challenge / Edale sponsored walk - £5800
• 2008 - Muscular Dystrophy - Rutland Water Cycle ride - £2700
• 2009 - Diabetes UK - Canal tow path walk - £1700
• 2010 – Help for Heroes - £683

Movember – Encore will this year be embracing Movember
